Your Public Profile
In this course you will discover how to structure your website, what to put on your website and how to use it as a sales tool that all your staff can use to sell your products and services.
We explore the various online marketing tools available from Facebook, Google and Twitter. You’ll understand online content marketing (ie. creating and maintaining a blog) and how it helps you build credibility, increase search traffic to your website and provide a reference tool you can use to support your customers.
Analyse Traffic
You’ll learn about website analytic tools that help you understand what goes on at your website. These tools are available to help you see the number of visitors but more importantly where they are going, how long they spend on your website and where they exit.
Website visitor analytics includes bounce rates, average time on site and exit page stats — which you can check at any time on your smart phone!
Online Digital Marketing
When you have the first version of your website you will want to promote it to try and find customers. There are numerous channels to get discovered, some are free and others cost money and it is important to understand what works and what doesn’t. It’s not just how you promote your new business and website but what you put on your site to make potential customers take action.
Analysing website traffic might be fund while it’s new and you are learning but until you can actually speak with a potential customer it’s all just numbers and data. You’ll learn some ways to begin interacting with potential customers (called prospects)
Customer Service and Support
Once you get a customer or a lead you want to ensure that you remain front of mind for future purchases they might make and we’ll show you how to use online email newsletter systems to ensure you remain front of mind for the service you provide.
Finally, if you are going to hire remote workers or want to become a virtual assistant yourself you need to understand how to support your clients.
You’ll learn how to use cloud based software programs to ensure smooth customer support — both before the sale and after it.
