As a marketing assistant you’ll contribute to the marketing team by identifying trends based on feedback and analysis to further develop and implement marketing plans and strategies of the organisation. A big component of this role is the creation of marketing materials including blogs, white papers and case studies. These tasks collectively are called Content Marketing and helps in the sales process as well as optimisation of online content for discover by search engines (SEO).
You may need to give presentations about ongoing campaigns and provide administrative support to marketing and sales teams. Good writing and verbal communication skills and attention to detail are very important succeed in these jobs.
You’ll need to work effectively within a team and understand the lines of command and key marketing messages as well as independently to complete your own tasks within those strategies.
Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing manager, interns, clients and partners
